Thanks. :-)

Got a bit worried as i just did a search on pootroll4x4.comb and i saw some evidence that it was cable driven.

Ive bought one of these units and figured i could take it back if it was cable driven :-)

the MK2 unit (current version that i have) says on teh front that its now compatable with nissan vehicles  so does not require all that modification.

in the patrol speedos their is a little potentiometer (big word i know, means adjustable thingy) that you can adjust to calibrate your speedo .you need to pull the front clear cover off your speedo cluster and on the top of the circuit board above the speedo you will see it .i drilled a 6mm hole directly above it so i could adjust it with a small screwdriver while driving .then just borrow a gps ,drive down the road and turn the adjuster till it reads the same as the gps .simple a :D :D :D
