hilux/surf/ 3L owners

Post by 4wdnuts »

if you guys out there have the 3L diesel motor in your hilux/ surf, what does your oil pressure gauge read :?: at idle mine is just on the first mark, but at 100kmh its up to the second mark. a mate of mine with the same motor in a surf thats just been rebuilt, his gauge doesnt go over the first mark no matter what  :?: . so im just curious to see what other peoples oil gauge reads :?:

I've found the factory oil pressure gauge senders are useless, put a quality oil pressure gauge on it if you are worried, however the fact the guage moves would indicate you have oil pressure, and thats all you need to know, isn't it?
