As per title.
not sure if the cup holders fit the older console or not so will take the whole center.
I believe these came on the facelift GQ's as my workmates '97 has one.
am getting cold balls when holding my frozen coke ATM.

Cut holes in some sheet metal and fold it to fit snug = removable cup holder
. It would still have the carpet in the bottom to stop them rattling around too bad.

I'm not too bad with sheet metal- but why bother when there is a factory and friendly looking option available. May test drive a later model safari and yank the cupholder. jk. -Nathan PS. Will pm you now.

There aren't that common. The part number for it is on Outerlimits, available from Nissan in Aussie atleast so probably mega $$ here.

I phoned nissan today + a whole lotta wreckers.
no wreckers had any but knew what i was talking about- seemed like a popular item.
Nissan quoted me $100 and 60 IIRC but cant be sure. I kinda tuned out after he said
one hundr and stopped listening.
I have some 3" aluminum tube sitting in the garage. I'm gonna machine up some rings tomorrow during lunch and somehow fix them to my center console.

Not too surprised. I can't see $100 worth of value in it myself.

NZ$100 sounds about right from Nissan NZ, considering they're AU$38 from Nissan Australia ....rip-off bastards
