First time I've seen corner guards without LED lights.
Yeip they are 33" MTR's - bloody noisy and am now running the MT Radial Claws - they are a wicked tyre.....only thing is they are directional which is a bummer for rotation.
Was looking at getting the ORO Lite DOT rear lights but the coppers in Qld are a PITA and I dont want to get defected.
I've never rotated tyres in my life; mostly I've driven cars with wider rears and directional tread so it isn't even an option. Can't you just swap front and rear on the same side? I assume directional has good benefits in MT tyres as the tread can be further optimised to give better traction and clearing for only one rotation direction.
I quite like the look of LED rears on the Wrangler, but I don't think I've seen any with orange LED bulbs for turn signals, which I assume is a legal requirement in NZ (and Aus?) like it is in the UK. It looks to me like the ones available effectively just flash the brake light as that is OK in the US. There are separate orange LEDs that I have seen used next to the grill when tube fenders are fitted and I guess they could be added as well, but that could easily look rubbish.
Well, i was intending on replacing the wheel bearing hubs and having some pics of my new bikini/duster/windjammer on my wagon looking all spunky...... BUT...... 1) the top components havent shown up yet, and 2) the truck is in the shop. A nasty screeching emitted from the clutch when engaged. Figured it was just the bearing, and a quick in and out would have it back on the road, but No. The clutch is pretty well warn to about 10% life left and the pressure plate is damaged also from the shot bearing...... Looking at around a $1000.00 notes, and thats with me supplying the parts at around $200.00 cheaper than the shop supplying them. Oh well.... with the bathroom renovation about to start, the wife heading to Sydney at Easter, and this, Im not going anywhere at Easter. Got the toy to play with but cant bloody afford to take it to the sandpit now...........
we'll just hang here and talk to each other over easter aye yeti? Making up stories about where we could have been and what we could have been doing! Boooooooooo

interesting.
Be keen to see some pics of it with the guards on, and some of it flexing too. I had issues with the 31's on -25 offset rims with it rubbing as stock.
Might have to bite the bullet and cede wrongness to skid.

Call me old / old fashioned / not in sync with fashion, but can you please try to use a bit more of the alphabets available in the English language. I don't believe this forum charges members or visitors by the number of characters they type / post (we are not really using cellphones here, are we?). Thanks. SMS has its place, but please not on the forum.
As for your comment, I have no clue what you are on about.

Are those factory rims painted black? Looking good.
TJ wrote:Are those factory rims painted black? Looking good.
Hi TJ Factory rims with very average black paint job. But they look good from a distance. Will be after some 15x8 steel rims soon. But think I will get those in Black or painted black when we find some.
Fen wrote:I saw that one on TM at a good price. Well done!
Hi Fen Yep thats the one, there are some issues, but I think we have a good base to work from and at the right price.
Cheers Rod
