I've gone and chopped the bug..

Post by callum007 »

I needed to get the 35's to fit better so i did some cutting. I should have stoppped but now i've cut the end of the deck clean off. I'd kinda like to bob tail the end some more. but i'm not sure what to do with the cage.. should I cut and redo the back stays or cut them clean off at the main hoop and then sort new ones??

Then I can sort out how to close the deck back in..and sort some front mud guards
i did get some "too Meke" green spacers made so my new rims clear the brake calipers

easiest and probably cleanest just to chop em right off and just get new ones bent up. otherwise you have to play around with unbending the bend slightly etc

not enough time to shorten cage by next weekends rally in mossburn, so just glued some panels back in.

better sort the spring over before i root the tyres on the guards

should be fine at the front. shifted the diffs forward and back an inch at both ends.. still got grief with the cage too close to tyres at the back. the chains will sort out the panels
