break light on dash stuck on

my brake light on the dash is stuck on in my safari.. is there anything prone to playing up such as a sensor e.t.c?? brake fluid level is full. not to sure what it is

Mine was the same, I think it was a hose off the back of the alt. that goes to a sensor was split, although I could hear it hissing. Cut the end off, reattached it, and all better.

Yup theres definitely a low vacuum warning connected to the light, and i havent really looked on mine but possibly a low fluid or pressure differential switch as well. Although my vac sensor hose used to come off all the time and the light doesnt come on..just something else on the list of annoying little things to fix lol

cheers boys was one of those vacuum lines that went to the vacuum pump. all fixed
