Which tracks did you have planned on day 1 and 4, same as originally planned? As long as my rated hook is mounted, I should be there for day 1. What else was required for the trip? Just tow ropes, extinguisher etc?

Same as usual at the moment even thow we are working on a plan B if the jobs give us shit

As there will be kids coming there will be no Guns allowed on trips, but If you want to go have a shoot after the days trip that is your choice

TRIP LEADERS HAVE FINAL SAY (don’t argue with them cause you wont be allowed on another trip)

Sorry guys I wont be able to go on this trip as Bubbles Grandfather has been give two weeks to live so its not a good time for me to be going away . I have spoken to Bob aka QUADRACER and he is going to take over running this trip for me. I hope you guys have a great trip and take plenty of photos.

all involved with leading trips or anyone that was coming with local knowledge please call
or PM, Have a list of all coming so far, but can we confirm yes or no by Friday so we can
arrange the trips now required.
Al could you give me a PM with your details as some advise is needed.
need time and Dates when everyone will arrive at the Camp site.

DAY 1 EASY TRIP UP AND AROUND THE MINES, TWO OPTIONS DEPENDING ON NUMBER EASY WITH A HARD ROUTE

DAY 2 TAILING WHICH IS A GRADE 5 , WILL ASSESS ALL DRIVERS ON THE FIRST DAY, IF FOR SOME REASON
YOU DON`T WANT TO OR FEEL YOU WILL NOT LIKE TO TAKE YOUR TRUCK IN, WILL DOUBLE UP
WITH ONE OF THE TUFF TRUCKS FOR THE DAY, AS WE HAVE SAID THIS DEPENDS ON NUMBERS/AND WEATHER

DAY 3 BENNETS FARM , THIS IS FOR ALL GRADES, GET STUCK YOU GET TOWED OUT , SIMPLE !!

DAY 4 STILL UP FOR DISCUSSION, WHO WANT REEFTON, OR ANOTHER 1/2 DAY OVER THE COAST???

Meeting and start location every morning outside the pools on the main road to the camp ground
all on channel 19 every trip FIRST DAY START IS 9AM SHARP, OTHER DAYS TO TBA AS TO DURATION OF TRIP.

as far as day 1 goes its actually up denniston

start by going up the goat track

there are a couple of old mines to check out up there

then up to mount rochford then stop at the incline for a look

then the burning mine on the mackley road on the way to mount fredrick

p.s: have lunch where ever we want

( subject to minor direction changes if we have time ) side tracks

Ok have had a response back from the people listed below.

These are who we are catering for with the trips to be run, if anyone turns up, they are
welcome but will need to tag on to the group we have.

Day 1) Will be as discribed, a easy day out look at some of the local history, nuts will throw in some
challenges for those would want them, will assess everyones skill level and discuss option for day 2



Day 2) This is weather permitting, as the rivers rise real fast, Tailing is a challenge, with river crossings, mud,
and a couple of steep hills, Last year everyone got through with a bit of winching and some help from others,
the were no major problems or brakages, this will be talked about on Friday night.

Saturday Night , we will have the annual Nuts BBQ, thanks to Nuts for inviting us back again,
every one bring something for the BBQ and some refreshments, and be prepared for a great night of Laughs
just a crusie night with some 4wd stories.

Day 3) Bennets Farm, this was a favorite last year, as everyone can give it a go, get stuck and get a tow.
this is just a good old fun day.

Day 4 will be decided as per Number as some are leaving on Sunday or Monday morning
Some may decide they have had enough, so will discuss this on Sunday after Bennets.

General rules are as per earlier posts, would recommend you all have a good look over your trucks
as it a crappy day when everyones having to fix stuff, always easier ti do it at home.

If for some reason we do have a break down, Nuts has an area to do repairs, and the locals
have a good supply of parts and knowledge.

We will meet on the Friday morning for the first trip at 9.00am sharp at the local pool, most are
staying at the Westport holiday camp, so you have driven pass this on the way in.

most important be prepared to have FUN, this is a regular trip run by Nuts and he enjoys everybody company
so lets also enjoy it.
