Shame its slightly low res and the sound is a bit nackered but you get the picture

no dont think they are as loud as mine either but still gets a warrent every time hahaha

Have you got the original motor in it? Quite like those 109's, they are getting a bit cheaper now to. Useless as a daily though.

yeah original 3.5 v8. reconditioned 30,000kms ago by summit engineering. i was one of the lucky ones who scored the full service history when the army sold the rovers off, body has done about 160,000kms now. number 383.

I'll have on one day! Gotta get the other classic out of the way first though. Was the best investment the fiberglass roof? The canvas tops would make you go deaf over time i'd imagine. Be worried about tearing them on trees in something that big to.

mmm yeah the roof was a good start. it leaks *less* than the canvas. i also threw some doors off a defender on there so i could have wind up windows and be able to lock it all up. i removed the governors and took the middle silencer out and thats it. fits the 33x12.5 mongrels that i had on my safari without a lift, they are coming down in price i see on the likes of trademe, defiantly no good as a daily unless you can pick up an lpg kit, although my old man borrows it durring the week for work.
