You aren't the only one doing a SAS on a bighorn in Rga at the moment!
Sold my 1985, BJ74 MWB Landcruiser, rear locker, 33" MTs, snorkel, PTO winch, solid bars all round, spotties, AM CB etc.
Now just a 1994, 1kz Surf, pretty standard.

He should turn up here some time soon and might make himself known - might been keen to compare notes.

You can get greaseable shackle and pins from Repco. Use Rear shackles for the front too cos they are slightly longer and much stronger.

here i was thinking i was gonna be different and have the only sas littlehorn in goon. yours isnt a 4 door 92 shape by any chance? doing things bit diff with mine gone with a 4.56 hilux front end so saves me chopping out the rear but still a lot of work to go before its driving anywhere

well you might still be cos i live in chch now, na its a 1990 4door, am going away from the cruiser stuff now cos iv picked up some 36" simex ET2 and the ratio isnt gonna be right iv been thinking about doing the 4.5 front and keeping the rear, but thinking twin hilux 4.8z is the answer to turn the tires, what size tires are you gonna run? sweet as yeah just gonna run 33's at the moment since its going to spend a lot of time on the road being the mrs daily drive. nt sure how the 3.1 would like running anything too much bigger anyways. can u get hilux high pinion diffs?? If i was gonna do it again id go high pinion as its really touch and go with my driveshaft angle and im only raising it 170mm from factory.
