Just a thought, instead of using the rover radius arms and having all the trouble of sorting your caster angles... have a look at this http://www.vintagebronco.com/coby/twisterarm/
If your doing this sort of thing you've got your welding cert so this shouldn't be a prob :) its what I'm planning to do to the rover.... as soon as I clear a few other projects

Woohoo the end is near.
Borrowed a mig welder (cheers Mike) got the Bob tail finished, chopped up the floor and rearranged it all so I still had rear body mounts, put the shortened canopy back on (by some fluke it fits).
I've welded the chassis all back together, so all that is left is to spin the spanners and get it all back together.
Will post afew pics tomorrow night.

Then it is obsession, my girlfriend constantly complains, only have the one project in the shed (55 square metres) and have problems getting to the light switch.
I wouldn't change it for the world.
Oh yeh, I think the house needs painting to  :D

I want to enlarge the shed too, there is plenty of room in the back yard. But the missus likes to have grass, I can't understand it, you have to mow the bloody stuff.

I think you should pray she never reads your posts ;) Otherwise you'd end up housebound...

Just bolting it back together. I've got the engine and box back in. Put the front driveshaft in only to discover a major f@#k up. I've got the caster angle soooo wrong, it's probably about 10 degres out and the front uni at the diff is binding up
Oh well wasn't doing anything tonight anyway.

woohoo progress. On holiday for a few days, spent the afternoon putting the body back on.
It when back on alot easier than it can off, got it sitting on axle stands at the height it will be with tyres on it.
2.1metres, damnit I'm going to have to change the doors on the garage to get the thing out.
Will post pics as soon as I can.

My experience tells me that steel bolt are better than stainless, steel bolts rust which stops them from coming undone in the future

Hey Lloyd, I discovered that I have a tiny bit more room for that air/fuel tank
200x400x600mm.
