Garage Clean-out of 4wd bits n' Pieces

A long overdue garage clean-out has established the following items as offered for sale to ORE members (please note, all prices are FIRM as have purposely been set at my bottom line):


• 1 x Toyota Hi Pinion 8" diff head 4.11 ratio from landcruiser VX80 Series front end. Very good condition. Price $450.00 FIRM.
"The 90-97 Landcruiser (FJ-80 and FZJ-80) uses a high pinion, reverse-cut front diff based on the V6/Turbo rear diff. The high pinion design allows the steering on these vehicles to run behind the axle and under the driveshaft. Carriers (i.e. lockers, LSD's) from the 8" V6/Turbo diffs can be installed (direct bolt-in) in the hi-pinion diff. The entire diff is also a direct bolt-in to all front and rear axles that use an 8" diff.
This diff is desirable to some straight-axle mini-truck and 4runner owners for a couple of reasons. First, the reverse-cut design of the gears is stronger than simply using a rear diff and gears up front as the factory did since its not using the weaker "coast" side of the gears when driving forward. For this reason, this diff is generally only used in the front axle. Second, the hi-pinion design gives very good ground clearance for the pinion and driveshaft as well as improves driveshaft operating angles."


• 2x Toyota Surf Gear Driven transfer Cases – Confirmed by mechanic to be in very good condition; ideal for a Crawler box conversion. Price = $225.00 per unit. From 1979 through '95, many Toyota trucks and 4Runners used a gear-drive transfer case: model RF1A. The gear-drive, or counter-gear, transfer cases have a 2.28:1 low-range gear ratio and use a 21-spline input shaft.

• ALL Pro Offroad HMWP (High Molecular Weight Plastic) Hause Fairlead for synthetic line. Brand new, never installed. Price = $65.00.

• Marlin Crawler Aluminium Hause Fairlead for synthetic line – Branded with ‘Marlin Crawler’. Brand new, never installed. Price = $85.00.

• Radiator for 2.8L Diesel Surf – Very good condition. Price = $100.00.
