toyota prado transfer box issues

i have a 2000 toyota prado kzj95 3ldt i have broken 2 center diffs now and was wanting to know if any one else has had the same problems and if the was another option i would like to make it a 2wd setup like the hilux's im not sure if this can be done even if i use a front diff out of a kzn160 because that still wont disengage the hubs witch means the drive shaft will still spin. any help would be good thanks for looking
