Thursday finaly got my new tires on. 265/75/16 instead of 245/70/16. and trimmed the guards today for them to fit properly and no rubbing real happy with the result.

Another thing ticked off the list for now.
Next. Tow hooks and rear hitch.

Managed to get the weekend off.

Spent 2 hours in the garage with the safari- pulled out everything aircon related (except the pump) as well as those gay headlight wiper motors and arms (who ever uses those anyway?)

Bought a turbo + some other random bits for the TD42. 8)

Feeling like a productive weekend compared to usual.

Spent the day in Woodhill today, as part of the safety patrol. It was a good relaxing day and only did a couple of recoverys, one of which was a near-new rubicon jeep. At the end of the day we were asked by the police to check out a stolen car on Muriwai beach to see if we could recover it, this is what we found, bare in mind its only been through ONE tide, needless to say its still there, but can't speak for tomorrow morning...

Nothing wrong with Land Rovers with the right owners. You got to be able to handle all their oddities. :D

Way to go Furgus.
The 130s' go well off-road, you just have to compensate for the extra length (as the Bishop said to the lady)Check out the pictures of my 130 on http://www.offroadexpress.co.nz/Forums/ ... 65&start=0 . I brought mine of Eli about September last year.
Mine's a Land Rover!! What's your excuse???
