Aotea's kind of like a big playground. Image They've hosted deadwood there a couple of times. Its really no prob for me to bring a bbq down as its just a couple of minutes down the road. I'll ring the guy up for sat if its alright with everyone?

I'll ring the guy tonight and see if I can get access first. Could be someone else in there but that would be unlikely.

Its kind of like a big open area. It would take you ages to drive everything. But its got some good driving in there. Drive what you want and leave what you dont like. Could start at one end and drive the hazards on the way to the other? Do you want to drive hazards in the morn or after noon?

Id prefer afternoon after lunch etc that way we get to look at the trucks for a bit and have a yarn etc. Always the way when meeting up with members for the first time. Have a beer and banger while I point out all the faults of the landy and you the toyota

It would be good to meet up with another person who knows abit about land rovers. I was originally going to get rid of the landrover and buy a zuki or something after I learnt off roading (it was a $450 bargain) but it has too much sentimental value to get rid of it now. Although the cage will be finished this weekend so dont point out that its muddy and rusty.

Trust me I know muddy and rusty! LR speciality. 1pm sounds great. I will turn up just before then with the stuff. Remember cameras, can never get to much photo evidence  LR has to be one of the only 4x4s that you will get a definite/guaranteed wave as you drive past another one  They just know the pain and suffering you have to endure to have the privilege of riding around in it 8)

yea the couple of times ive sat in the passenger seat while my dad and my sister have driven it into porirua (I'm still waiting for my license) we've had waves and smiles. Not just from other landrovers. Its especially funny as you pass them on the motorway or up whitford brown.
To get in, you need to go to the top of francis brown ave. Theres a gate right at the top of the road. If i'm there already, the gate will be unlocked, just turn right when you get in the gate (dont follow the tarseal) and follow the track down.

Open to anyone. OKay to be late. You just dont get BBQ feed if you're too late.

Saturday at 1:00 is the time for anyone coming.

Bring that sauce Jerry. Unless you want to use mikes first

No cost to come. Unless you want to "dontate" to the land rover fund.

Cheers
