What colour ?

Starting a project or modification? Then post it's progress here and show us some pic's.

What colour ?

the plan is to repaint my hilux, should i leave it red and just give it a respray or should i change the colour,
what do you guys think,
i have about 2 weeks before it is ready for paint

Im going to repaint my red Escudo silver,had a silver
car once and it always looked clean even tho it was
dirty

yea i like the dark gun metals too, with black you gota have your prep work mint (if its gloss) cause it shows up every little imperfection

im hoping to paint my 83 hilux this weekend its going apple green with gloss black wheels,rollbars,bullbars,snorkel.will post pix when all done.hoping it will look cool :lol: :lol: every one gos black :)

if your keeping it as virgin as you plan to , then go the factory colour, otherwise, go some rank pink colour (god forbid someone did that $hit :lol: ) and thats the first step to modifying it.......

the panel work is costing me an arm and leg so it should be perfect i hope

Congrats on the pending arrival ... but with a baby arriving on 12th May I'd suggest you get that truck painted asap - cos you ain't gonna have a cent left to do anything with from here onwards! :lol:

Is it legal to have a childseat in the tray of the pickup ... secured to the roll-bar? ... :roll:

Stay red - it's cool and bold enough to stand out plus all the other colours have to be perfect or they look naff: red can be dirty and still look the part :D

still havnt decided on what colour yet and yes the two kids keep spending all my money :cry:
nothing is going to get done till we move at the end of the month and get my own shed to work in

i always wanted to paint mine a different colour but there is so much bare metal on them inside and around the show it wasn't worth it. Not like a car where ya can get away with just the outside and door jams (maybe engine bay) with a good old hilux ya'd have to do the lot full inside and outside job.

the plan is to do inside and out, its completely stripped so theres no masking
