yeah i understand what your saying richard .. mines actualling missing a bit .. its on the cert paper just not on the tag .. winch bar firewall mods anti tramp bar etc

fitted the rears in the front today man instant awesomeness .. still gunna play with the front pack .. but the rear hold good hight but without shocks you could mistake it for a trampoline
rear shocks relocated and the gain in rear articulation is about 3" less that petes 80 series so millons x3
havent tested the front since changing the fronts
big thanks to pete for sticking with me getting it done and to sarah for loaning pete to me :D and helping with asheigh
fu@k your both fantastic buggers .. also big thanks to mudzilla for his fantastic deals and good ideas :D
oh and tanks ben cause with out your nagging i probably wouldnt have done it :d

aside from the rest of the exo and the spacing down of the front spring mounts and some crossover thats it for "mods" to this truck
just tool box's etc and a pile of little finishing jobs to go :D

My tyres are listed on the cert plate? They said that tyre size is a huge factor in brake performamnce so must be recorded accordingly!
BUt also has missed a whole lot as well.
An idea of how badly things get recorded.
My front suspension that is twin shocks, lifted springs and hudraulic bump stops, is called raised heavy duty suspension.
He even said with how it is described no one really knows what it should be like!!!!

after doing the falcon converson and ROF conversion on my truck (cheers jafa pete and sarah ) i needed to sort my steering jafa been the helpfull bugger he is sent me up a bent SNR crossover arm so i could visualise what was required to get crossover in there as a fliparm as a definate not gunna happen
to make it all work in the meantime i bent up a z arm
last weekend .. i bent the z arm into a f arm and nologer could turn right so after a couple of days deliberating i desided to buy snr crossover unfortunation one if teh bits required waent is stock but again jafa come to the rescue and wipped one up the next day so i could have all my bits ready for the weekend

so call this a testimonial or what ever but cheers to mark and jaff's at SNR for going the extra distance and keeping my 4X4 rocking to the cheerleaders beat :D

Hi Wayne .
Please dont think I am being picky but looking at the photos I think you need wedges under the springs to correct the drive shaft angle otherwise the pinion bearings are really getting stressed.
It might just be the photo and I might be wrong.

what's the stock angle meant to be ??
as it is ATM the spring perches are flat at normal driving

I dont know what the correct angle is but it cant be too high otherwise the pinion front bearing doesn't get oil.

I have just gone out in the pitch black and taken a photo of mine. I think my diff points up about 8 degrees ? But the straighter the line is with drive shaft the better.

Truck wreckers have heaps of wedges of varying degrees.

i thought that the diff and gearbox driveshaft flanges should be parallel.

If you have two uj's the flanges should be parallel, if you run a Double Carden (cv), then the diff should point at the TF case flange. Read the page I posted above. If you tilt the pinion up, and your worried about oiling, just put more in it. It been done millions of times before with no ill effects.
