Family and kids weekend june 6th and 7th

well it's my daughters 9th birthday on the 1st we allways head to the orongorogo's being queens birthday and all. this year she wants to go to rallywoods for a night. so what a better way for kids to meet kids and families getting to spend time with there kids, as well as just having a bloody good day/nite. so book the 6th and 7th in your dairies and well see you up there.

yup, was a tad chilly allright

did a bit of gorse cutting and some drain clearing ( skiddy style )

left 80 at Paua and got a lift to Bruces with Paul and Wayne, then a few others turned up and a few more and we had a few cups of tea and someone had a camera and then we somehow staggered and crashed our way to Martys after having a few close inspections of the ground and negotiating the swing bridge.

walked out to Paua on sunday to retrieve 80 and cruise out

What about a treasure hunt for the kiddies, that should keep them quiet for a bit...need some idea's on where to stash each clue.....sending them down to the end of the airstrip at the end for the final clue/prize should tah them out

that sounds like a good idea. tug of war, also pull a truck : we line 2 trucks up all the kids pull 1 truck and 1 big person pulling another one see who wins first.

This weekend 6th and 7th June, Rallywoods Gate will be opened from 9.30am Saturday (winter hours), key will be in the usual place for anyone coming in later. If anybody wants to go Friday pm Jerry to arrange the key.

Normal Rallywoods charges or credits apply and dont forget to bring lots of warm clothes.

Everyones welcome, it'll be a low key social weekend around the fire and playing on a few tracks

Cindy has no internet untill Friday so she cant post anything on the thread

I'll bring my chainsaw up to do a few loads of firewood coz the woodsheds looking a bit empty

Was a good day. Took my boy in and he had a blast.... For a quick drive in the bush took out rear light front light and a few new dents.... Had a great day thanks very much for the day, so where are the photos..... So it get cold up there last nite...????? Nice at home with fire on. The boy lasted about two minutes before he went to sleep. abbo
