safari oil feed?

can anyone help me on what size oil feed and oil return i should be running on my safari???

also is it alright if i weld a pipe out of the sump for the oil return??







and if any one has a turbo they have lieing around that they want to get rid of could be good.

the safari we kit we fitted had from memory a 1/4" oil feed hose, and returned thru a 1/2 tube to a socket in the sump, we drained the sump, welded the socket to the surface and then using a spike drove it thru the side of the sump, this way no swarf is created,

been about 2 years and still running!!

awesome cheers for that, i was going to take the sump off all together and drill it through. but your way sounds like a much easyier option.

also where is the best place to buy them, i noticed they are for sale on trade me but $160 seems abit steep

hey guys

URGENT: i was going to get the oil feed from the one on the left hand side in the middle of the engine mount but it seems the allen key plug is striped so cant get it out, i no there is ALOT of places to get oil feeds from on these blocks so where would be some where else on the block i can get it from????????



and is it safe to tee the turbo oil return into the alternator oil return hose?

sump would be best,having said that I use the alternator return as many others have,seams to work fine.

I use the oil sender outlet for pressure side

** Is it safe to run a 8mm oil return on a TD05h?? ** its the biggest hose they can fit on.
