my x-member

Post by zookfest »

my front driveshaft dose not reach the front diff as the x-member does not allow it tocome down far enough so today comilux and i fitted 1'' alloy lowering blocks and i reversd the shaft around the other way ie fat end to diff and skinny bit up at transfer.made a huge difference but still dosnt bolt up is extremely close but even then when it comes to flexing i will end up damaging it,so.... im yhinking of 2 options

1. 40mm spacer and double carden uj to extend it past the x-member
need around 8'' and that will give me around 6-7''

2. i give the x-member a birthday and chop it.

im guessing it needs alot of strenth,i just dont eant to drop the x member too far so it hangs down

what would you do and why :?:
