Great News
Just spoke to Dave and the you can now enter the open with no roll cage but you must have a roof. No roll cage and no roof = no entry. The nature of the course is that there is no real hills to put you on your roof and the most you can do is put it on its side.
Now there is no excuse not to enter! That still includes you Al!

Al's big enough & ugly enough to throw shit back for himself, but as someone who's wittnessed the ocker shocker attempt & conquer Rics 'wall of death' in the wet (sans lockers or Toyota)
, I'd lay Speights on him being at the start line (short of there being an episode of Ibiza Uncovered on the box)
.

Nice way to make an entrance, dumbass. Who the hell are you, and how come you know so much about the people here? 2 posts and you're full of knowledge... good for you, you'll do well.

Ok, since I'm now officially open class I'd better go weld up a diff in preparation

Someone bring a spare alternator

Does "dumbass" also cover someone who rolls downhill backward without a seatbelt on & a dog in the ute. And is then proud of it !!
Where is this coming from and what is it all about.

So again, what is your point and who is it directed at. Your gutlessness behind anominity is currently competing with your stupidity.

The type of CLASS debate will always be there and if it wasn't for the Sheffield Volunteer Fire Brigade event there would be no events in Canterbury and without the assistance of Dave Taylor and his company FALSGRAVE AUTO SPARES there would have been no events for the last eight years, give these guys all the help and asistance you can.
As for entering, some years I fit my old set of 33's , tape up one DiffLock switch and have fun in the Modified Class. Other times I have Run my 35's used both D/L's and still had Fun. Don't worry about competing against the purpose built Trails Vehicles, compete against vehicles the same or similar to yours . Remember it is a FUN TRIAL and FUND RAISER for the local area. See you all at the Event and by the look of these posts I will have to run in the OPEN CLASS to give you young BUCKS a bit of Grandad Oposition ,. (RED 70 series very SMOKEY exhaust ) .
GET DIRTY, FITZY.

Well looks like I'm in, Mrs talked me into it. That's one for the books
Have to see what the V6 pathy on 33's with rear lsd can really do
. She wants to have a family day out there, so hosehustler, bring that big tent of yours or the pop top
Have to dig the old motorbike stack hat out and dust it off. Might need one of those big ORE windscreen stickers now Mike
or should I get FoxtrotUniformCharlieKilo made up and stuck on the windscreen.

if you haven't got anything constuctive to add for a very freindly,open, bunch of people, please refrain from commenting at all, or better still post your comments on the other NZ forum that has all the tossers like you just waiting for confrontation

P.S I need a co-driver

Sure thing Al, I think the old tent might be the go, Mrs might not enjoy mud trampled through the poptop..
I hate signatures
I will refrain from any more comments to or about Bushprick, don't want to turn a good thread into a shitfight
So, We have:
Matt (Lets weld up your diff
)
Rik (Lets weld up your springs
)
Al (Bring a spare alternator)
Kev (Bring a step ladder
)
Tim (Being nice since you're bringing shelter)
Bill (You drivin' again yet?)
Fitzy (Bring a couple of litres of veggie oil - for those that haven't met him, you'll understand on the day)
Red-Devil (Have we met? - Name?)
Adam... you coming?
Pajeroboy... bring your dad too... ALL 4WDs need to get muddy for the cause
Jase (Niblik) - you now have a very short time to get that truck finished
Oh, and I'd better come too I suppose
Wouldn't want anyone thinking I was making excuses now the rollcage rule has been relaxed...
Did I miss anyone... I must have missed someone... add yourself to the list, then we can work out how many hectares we need to reserve as a pit area
We'll probably need a couple of BBQs, some more shelter (gazebos etc), a few cheap warehouse tarps for lying on under muddy trucks, sausages for stuffing up the other competitors exhausts, some loud doof-doof boxes to let everyone know the ORE rabble rousers are there... and a big f-off sized banner...
