exaust exit

right been thinking about my exhaust exit i want to go thru the side panel behind passangers door it was going underneath before but i have added sliders

how much room around the exhaust do i need running 2" pipe ie 3" hole

can i legaly continue the pipe up by my roll bar like a trucks exhaust
and is doing this all legal when toplis and with cab on??

we had the truck exhaust with a flapper thing in our nissan with a ute chop and a chev, it was mint as but we changed it because it kept cracking the exhaust because it had the big 90 in it and also when you tried to get stuff out of the box on the back it blew in your face :lol: but it was pretty cool :D

hi warren,when doing my exaust i was told u have to have a minimum of 50mm clearance around pipe so 4" hole,regarding stacker not sure on legallity,seen it on a few trucks so is pos but ud need to ask ur certifyer exactly what the rules are
1990 surf 350 chevy jacked up and currently under construction again

thanks will see if i can fit a four inch hole :(

rokhound yep thats wot im thinking about :lol:

haven't plucked up the courage to drill a big hole in my nice new paint job yet plus can't afford to do the exhaust yet but job interview this morn yahoo :D :D
