MT opinions

Post by 2MEKE »

I'm after opinions on the following tyres.
The main consideration is cost vs performance.
They're going onto a soft-top Samurai running Prado diff's.
I've been quoted Sumitomo SL840's @ $1100 but haven't included them as no one else asked could do better than $1250.

All prices are fitted and balanced for 4 tyres.

If anyone knows of a better deal I'd be keen to here about it.

 ...too busy trying to post on the day we have performance reviews

33x12.50-15.

It's road legal (hopefully).
No shingle or big rocks but in the summer it will be on the beach a lot in dry, course sand. The rest of the time it'll be mud/clay tracks. The commute to said beach is about 250km round trip on tarseal and given the road/beach use I decided not to go for a more aggressive tyre (Deestone, Simex, etc).
