The mount on the other side is cracked off and missing - can any one help?

I heard a bit of a rattle up front and then while redoing diff oils I noticed it loose!

Sold my 1985, BJ74 MWB Landcruiser, rear locker, 33" MTs, snorkel, PTO winch, solid bars all round, spotties, AM CB etc.
Now just a 1994, 1kz Surf, pretty standard.

Was thinking of that....

What experience have others had + or - with swaybar removed?

Try it and see for yourself.
If I am going somewhere serious that warrants it, I take mine off.
But as most of my driving is On-road or this time of year at Broken River in deep snow but not big flexing, I leave it on generally.
On-road I like to drive through the corners, yes the front bar makes the handling better, on the shorty Prado.

Does stuff all difference, suppose it depends what suspension you got..
my mate got all new OME gear which is bloody stiff IMHO

I'm talking Coils cos it is a Prado. Yes the suspension setup is stiff but if I am pushing the vehicle it does make a considerable difference.

Yeah mine did the same thing and ripped both mounts out a couple of years ago, they dont like all the flexing. You can notice the difference in body roll on the road with the swaybar missing but its not a huge difference, none of the 40 series cruisers ever had sway bars on them

I ripped my 80 series one off a couple of weekends ago and barely noticed a difference when driving normally, when pushing it I noticed it being a bit more rolly in corners.

you didnt notice it when your driving along and its just about disconnected anyway so you might as well bin it
doesn't play well with small vehicles

Still after a diff mount for sway bar on my 70 series cruiser. Got myself a sway bar disconnect so will try having the best of both worlds.
