after selling the 'scud and the mitsi im looking for a truck. i want something with solid axles front and back (had my fill of ifs lately). preferably auto as i cant use my left arm.

let me know what you got for sale, or some suggestions, good/bad points of particular trucks too would be good so i can keep an eye out on turdme etc.

I'm selling my Cherokee if you'd be interested, mint condition, 3 grand. Also have 60mm rest springs with it too, but aren't in vehicle. I just bought a rough one for spares and decided to keep it as I wont give a #### if it put it into a tree etc.

a shorty safari is on my short list, i won a trademe auction for one last week but the gearbox shit itself before i went to collect it so the deal was called off

not really after a cherokee, looked at a few but not my cup of tea.

must be road legal, or at least still in the system.

got my eye on a solid axle surf with a 5m motor, a 3/4 finished project. would like a hilux i think. can a surf auto box be fitted into a hilux easily enough?

I'm as biased as everyone else is but if you want solid axles a bit of space and auto my first choice would be a Rangie classic. Second a Disco. Easy to mod hundreds of sites showing you what can be done and even as stock they go places you don't expect them to.

A bloke I work with is after a shorty Safari or similar, how much are you looking at for a average one these days
He wants to buy my Surf , if he keeps upping the offer I might surprise him and take it
