New Tyres For My Ute

I'm looking at getting some mud tyres for my hilux.

I'm looking at 31*10.5R15 as I would like to keep my standard alloys and I'm not wanting to go too far. I am also not looking at spending a packet. I have been offed some 9mm tread Firestone ATX 23's in that size for about $400.

What would you recommend?

$400 for the set? they would be a good start. Wouldn't pay any more than that for them though.
