Two new areas of the site.

Post by mike »

Hi All,

spent till 4am the other night building two new sections of the site so I could sell my motorbike and car :D

One is the My 4wds section which you can list all your current and previous 4wds to date. A sort of record of what you've owned over the years. I'll be adding the video functionality to this soon.

Enter them here http://www.offroadexpress.co.nz/node/add/4wds

will build the view to have a look at each others soon. I will be making it so only registered users can view these and also will give you the ability to turn them on and off to the public, registered or supporters of the site. That way you can define your own level of security on them.

Also if you have a 4wd for sale you can list it here:

http://www.offroadexpress.co.nz/node/add/4wd-classified

Once again I still have to build the view pages to see them (hopefully tonight) but you can start listing them and link to them in the forums if you like.

Cheers

Ok got the basic view pages up. these will change as these areas get more content. Once one format is used it will be used through out the entire site. ie Forum latest posts (ore, association and kroc - for those who are on those forums you will see latest posts from them but others wont) , latest vids, latest my4wds, latest f sale and not forgetting the latest pics (they will come honest), latest trip reports, latest build writeups.

Bit of work but its happening.

Anyway links are on the front page of ore.

Looks good mike. Well done that man there!! LOL

Would/should it be possible to go to the Association site from the front page of ORE (Forums) site?
A link that ONLY registered Association members can see, no rego, no lookee!!

Why?
those forum members who are also Association members would then get a reminder that there is actually another "sort of" private forum as well.

Watcha fink?
