If you cut it down to a flat deck then there plenty of room to mount it! Pretty poor excuse to hack the truck up but it's a start! :lol:
Nissan Terrano coilovers, turboed VH45, Safari axles, and some other stuff.

I was curious to know if ya can mount them horizontally, or does that put too much pressure on the mount thingy :?: :?: :?:

Yes was vertical - I actually thought of horizontal while writing that post.

Sold my 1985, BJ74 MWB Landcruiser, rear locker, 33" MTs, snorkel, PTO winch, solid bars all round, spotties, AM CB etc.
Now just a 1994, 1kz Surf, pretty standard.

its seeming like this thread turning into how to mount your jack or something... bu i cant find an accident pic either so how about a miss communication with one..

my jack has broken a pin in it which holds the lower locator in place. does anyone know where to get spare parts for a high lift jack? thanks

went into 4wd acc and they wanted $50 for a replacement kit. Thought i might aswell just buy a new jack for $70 off trademe

The advantage of the kit is that you then know that your jack is like new ...
The down side of second hand stuff ( and I think it's improtant with stuff that I consider "safety") is what condition is the item and does it matter.

I have a genuine yank one and it has dropped my truck back on its wheels for no apparent reason, luckily I hadn't yet taken the wheel off so no damage was done but now I always put something extra under the chassis when I'm doing the tires at home just to be safe. The kickback is also bonecrushing if it gets you, buttttt having used one in the bush to get out of a rut they certainly do have their uses.
