Hello All

I am the organiser for the Coastguard Rally.

We do have tough trucks to get shiny's out of the sand and mud and shingle, but any extra help will not be turned away.

Went over the track on Sunday just gone and the owner of one of the stations has said that it is fine with them if you want to make some new tracks through the shingle slide. There are a few areas to get muddy in and a water hole for those in need of a quick dip.

Feel free to ask questions.

We are also going to have a raffle for a trip on the Spirit of Wellington for $10 a ticket. Usually to go on the Spirit you have to be a coastguard member or someone we have just rescued.

we will make ourselves known to you at the registration thingy in Featherston and if you need our services, we'll be able to sort something out.

I can't see it being too much of a problem, but if theres some complete novices there, then you can slot them in between 2 experienced drivers and it should be all good.

looking forward to nice drive, hope the weather is brilliant too :P :P :P 8)

You wont be needing the handbrake for the trip so that just leaves the CV to sort out..... see you at the Tavern

Its limited to 100 vehicles and according to the top of the page theres already 65 registered so as long as more than 45 others dont turn up on the day you'll be right

seeing as how most of us are meeting at the tavern for a convoy and cabinet delivery.

Taz 01 has decided he would like the day to start even earlier....................

7.30am for brekkie at McDonalds Upper Hutt, Main Street.

I'm not sure about that, but if for some miraculous reason my daughter wakes up early, we will try to make it dude
