do any of you welly guys have an swr meter i can use (meaning you will use it while i watch how to do it) :lol: to tune am cb aerial, liquid payment or whatever, upper hutt area but i will travel welly wide

why didn't you buy a pretuned CB whip.. simple'r and actually more likely to be on tune throughout the band..
Dont follow me. i'll get stuck and need a tow..

i got a second hand unit and whip, all i really want to do is check the set up and learn a little about it, hopefully the guy it came from had his shit sorted when he bought it,

Have got the SWR Meter now, just tested on my CB in the shiny and it appears to work :D Gimme a yell when your ready and I can come over and try it out on yours :D

cool cheers jerry. i got it in the truck and have been listening in on the truckies channel. it all seems to be working fine. maybe sometime next week or the weekend would be good time to check it out?. it will give me a chance to improve the earthing of the arial

Wont be many other than the truckies to talk to coz most people use UHF PRS radios now :oops: :oops:

yeah i keep geting told that, still it was a cheap deal and i will also score some handhelds. i have heard a few people on it around work in seaview. ha ha just dont tell my mrs that i dont need it :lol:
