stalling pajero swb please help

hey my pajero swb is stalling threw puddles of water what could it be ?
check eng lite and oil light come on wen going threw puddles of whater what could be the problem?

Specs of the Pajero?

One of my last Pajeros had some similar issues but didn't stall that I can recall but I'll try to offer some advice when I hear back.

Off subject; soft top or hard top? I'm in Petone also and now on third soft top - love them!

its a 1993 pajero swb 3.5L just had a full survise aswell done 120000kmz
