Nothing on the 4X4 as it will be working, it goes in for new tyres on Wednesday and back to the exhaust shop as well as it has blown the piping apart that they did last week but, the last bits arrived today for the RX7 rotary engine so my job now is to clean the engine so it can go to the engineers for surgery possibly next week. And I am having Sunday off so I am going to lie in late, read the paper in bed and have a great day out on the club day at the race track in the arvo, try and beat my old time

I think youll find thats .005 and .022 thousands of an inch. not .005 and 0.022 of a thou as that would be .000005

had a bit of a sleep in this morning

then headed up to Rallywoods with my club about lunchtime

cooked a mean chilli con carne and had the orchard heater cranking

left about 8pm to head home, just got in 5 mins ago

lets take a different way home they said

all I will say is I saw an orange building and there was forest that we went thru that was very slippery

took a lot longer to shoot thru than we expected

will load up pics tomorrow, camera got thrown around in the 80 somewhere, she was a rough ride

Fark Wopass that photo looks preemo! .. cant wait to have my hernia opp so i can get out on my kayak again.

Well most of this weekend was spent nuking Windoze off my laptop and installing Linux Mint 7 on it ..I CAN FINALLY STAY LOGGED INTO ORE!!!!!!
no more being booted out everytime i went to try and post/go back/twitch/sneeze/or look at Skiddies R18 posts (started happening after the last ORE upgrade with Winblows 7RC1 and IE8 and never found a resolution to the problem) ,
Once i have everything the way i want it I have a DVD of last weekends winching/recovery/3 ringed circus "2 hour" quiet drive down to the firewood paddock  to edit and upload.

pulled my recently rebuilt motor down today to find out why it was making the daka daka daka sound (thinking that it was probably just a bigend gone funny). Found ALL the bearings are toast and have scored the crank badly. Now suspect an oil blockage/failure somewhere. To recon it will probably cost $$$$

So learnt an important lesson... DON'T waste money rebuilding crapass holden motors. They will just bite you in the ass.

If anyone has a good con holden 202 they want to sell cheap PM me.... or alternatively suggest an alternative power plant

thats a cool project, to post photos log in to photobucket. then pick share image after uploading, then find the bit where you can choose how to share, pick to a bullitin board, copy it and paste to the page. it took me a while to figure it out. and my explanation is a bit vague but thats the gist of it

We went down the waimak for a look today since the new 4wd area has been opened, gave me a chance to try out my new terrano LSD in the front of the safari. It was good fun,, wet, lots of mud, lots of stock 4wds out getting stuck. We came across one guy in a v6 terrano, who thought a good idea to go flat out through a big puddle, until v6 stopped. I stopped and said to pull air filter out, which was full of water, I then said to pull plugs out, which he replied "I have no tools". Bugger I said. His mate towed him home. We found the 4wd area and had some good muddy fun with the other 4 million 4wds there haha. Just about need traffic lights down there! Couldnt climb a steep bank, bent bullbars, again. Found stretch of water to race through to clean off underbody, a nearby stock surf mustve seen and done the same but with no snorkel was soon dead and puffing steam. Several unprepared, inexperienced people out today killing their trucks. A lwb prado jacked up with big rubber drove out to the middle of the river and stopped. (shallow) After awhile the window came down and out came a pile of mcdodnalds rubbish. Straight into the river, right underneath the main SH1 bridge! What a COCK. We couldnt believe it. It only takes 1 f$%^wit to wreck it for everyone. If I see him around Ill mention it to him.
Drove out onto main road.... clutch slipping bad haha. Time to throw the new one in.
