yeah i realised once i got up the top of the hill after the bridge i lost you all was just me and taz at the lighthouse at the end.

first and formost .. thanks to all those who were involved in planning and organising this trip...
my names Shane ...
and it was my first organised 4wd trip and i had a ball ...

i was in the blue 70 series swb cruiser ( yes the one to get stuck in the bog first! ) so yeah it was my fault all the toyota's got grief if they were stuck ;)
speaking of which .. who was that guy in the safari that pulled me out .. i owe you a beer ( even after all the ribbing )

where to from now ? im hooked and want to get into this more ....

firstly, where you from :?: :?:

as for where to from here.......................

keep an eye out here and you will see trips pop up and then you can go on some of them

then you will break damage your vehicle ( prob not coz its a cruiser )

then you will want bigger tahs, lifted suspension, more power etc etc etc

then you are well and truly hooked

oh yeah, WELCOME

sadly the cruiser has no where near the power or clearance

Hi All

For next year it looks like we will be doing this rally on Sunday 11 April as there is a contingent of Aucklanders that will be travelling down this way and want to come along.

We will be doing it the other way though.

Have you seen the article in the latest 4x4Action magazine - looks really great from an ORE point of view

and the jeep features in the photos - :twisted:

Yep, got my copy from Magnetix in Midland Park today

Your camoflauged truck features in one of the photos too Steve.

The big double cab black navara ute is in one of the photos too
