Clutch Problem ?

Post by Landscaper »

My mazda bounty clutch was getting low in its engagment point and felt soft at top and hard to engage first gear so i adjusted it down by pedal . then it was engaging in middle of travel , but now feels very soft if not pumped . Its not going through any fluid as yet will check for leaks tomorrow in day light.
Hope this makes sense any help would be great
Thanks Ben

Make sure there are no leaks inside the cab too. i had a similar problem in my old surf and one of the seals was buggered and very slowly leaking down towards the pedal. worked out about $5 dearer for the whole master cylinder instead of a seal kit

Pulled back rubber boot on slave cylinder fluid pissed out so new one from BNT $31 will fit when it stops pissing down.
