Ricks ramp at 4WD Accessories

Post by petefj40 »

He's a 35 second clip of few stills thrown together from a wee go at Rick's ramp at 4WD Accessories today.
There was my truck, Steve's, Nathan's, PR's and Rick's.
Rick's Jeep was the meanest of course.
PR's didn't do to bad. 65% @ a 23 degree angle. My old 40 managed 69% @ a 23 degree angle.

The reason I asked for a go at the ramp was, I wanted to see how much more clearance I needed on it's limit, for both the new fabricated front guards and rear wheel arches.

If you can get some snags, bread, sauce together and BYO, I am sure we could get something together. He dosen't open saturdays anymore as he spends much needed time with the family.
PR, that was a piss poor effort at ramping, mine was way higher then that, even beat Tim's old truck.

like Al said Jono. Rick will be keen to do something.
I heard H2OLuva was sorting out the use of a dyno at some stage soon.
Maybe Rick should bring the ramp to where the dyno is and we did something there on the same day. Now THAT would be cool. :D
