Winch bars, help wanted in Chch

Post by kiwipete »

Ok, here I go with cap in hand.
I have these bars that I want to convert into a new winch bar set-up for my Terrano.
I need some fabrication done to re do the whole winch mounting and am wondering is there is anyone here in Chch with the appropriate gear/workshop/tools etc that may be able to help me. I can supply refreshments and reimburse consumables etc, oh and help where I can too.

This is what its like now.

How i'd like it too look but with the winch rope exiting between the twin bars. ie. the winch would be lifted about 150mm or so. Bumper removed and indicators placed between the bars etc.
