On 28th June is the 4x4 Challenges AGM and afterwards a normal meeting. It will be at the Victoria Ave School in Remurewa, Auckland at 11am.
Come along and have you say but only members will be able to vote.
Basically it is time to come along and have your say or stay at home and keep your mouth shut! If you don't get inolved then don't complain if things don't happen like you want!
Please let me know if you are going to attend so we can plan for numbers.

Re: 4x4 Challenges AGM and Meeting 28 June
Is there an Agenda for the meeting so we know whats going to be discussed??
Re: 4x4 Challenges AGM and Meeting 28 June
Just a reminder that the AGM is on this Sunday.
Topic to be covered will be
Class rules
Log Books
Rules review process (we are not discussing rules)
Working closer with the SI
NZFWDA support (and a report from me as to what happened at the conference)
Some house keeping like new batteries for radios etc.
Also all the normal AGM stuff like election of officers etc. So we need the guys from the regions to put their hands up to ensure we get a true representation and local contact points.
Anything else then let me know.

Re: 4x4 Challenges AGM and Meeting 28 June
The choice of weekends for club run events is not something that can be dictated by 4x4 Challenges NZ. In an ideal world there would be no event clashes anywhere in NZ but it is a fact of life that it will happen. If 4x4 Challenges NZ were to stop an Auckland area club holding their event because another club in the South Island had chosen the same weekend, then the options for event planning would be severely restricted.
The aim is to try to endeavour to avoid clashes for events within a region or for any event depicted as a national winch challenge contest.
It is the intention to work towards building a calendar to list planned winch challenges throughout NZ.

Re: 4x4 Challenges AGM and Meeting 28 June
Was there any outcome about the Rotorua winch comp, is it going to be a sanctioned round? and/or the placings/points going to count towards the 4x4 challenges points table?
Cheers
