307 air intake diameter

lookin at a snorkel for my fj rig ( 307 , super HP, no it is ! ) and was wondering what would be my min diameter of tube inside for the intake pipe,
wouldnt want to restrict it in any way eh !!

I remember hearing someone say you want at least 100mm on a 350 or 2 x 75mm to get the airflow needed

something to do with pipe volume over blah length needing to be bigger due to blah blah blah...

little 307 would be fine with a twin 3" snork setup thats if your screamin the lungs off it everywhere or go for a single 3" snork and see how it goes, induction need only be enough to give what you want, no more no less, if you find it runs outa puff at 7krpm then your driving it wrong or smack another 3" snork on the other side...

i have 2 3" podzzz feeding my 350 but only for coolness
