new firestones

Post by rockyman »

seen some mudtyres, i think they were called destinatiosn or something at the local firestone shop the other day. they are under $300 and look a bit like wranglers. does anybody know much about them? was probably going to trade in my 30" wranglers for a set of 33" of these. any info on them would be appresiated as the guys working there didnt know much about them.

Cheers

This also looks like an interesting tyre - haven't heard any reports on it

I was talking to the guys at Firestone about these tyres.
They are basically the RMT tyre.

Those new Destination MTs are what I'm saving for to put on my truck. Anyone had these yet?

the new destination mt goes real well. fitted a set to local 4wd club member for west coast trip and he reported backed that they went f..kn well and quiet on road aswell. firestone are not going to be bringinging them out in a 33. they are rated very high in the usa. if you want 33s go to the bridgestone 673 awsome tyre all round.
