Newbie from Wellington

Post by 89PAJV6 »

Hey Guys ,
Names Daniel from welly, Just getting back into the off roading after a 3 year break! , had a 2.8 lifted surf back in the day , and now buiding up the old family pajero , 1989 V6 swb , and loving it, have missed the mud! , still pretty inexpierienced but enjoying learning. So far have done 40mm lift with OME springs and shocks, 31" hankook mud tyres , AVM manual lock hubs and flexy rear arm bushes, done the full end to end service, wheel bearings and cambelt, seals , waterpump etc, snorkel and body lift to come :D , suprised how well the old girl goes off road. Thinking about joining the local 4X4 club and getting out there more
Cheers, need all the advice i can get :)

HaHa cheers guys :D , everyone seems to love to crack at pajeros :D , Nothing wrong with the old ones! HaHa , beats having a safari /patrol or cruiser like every other man and his dog! :D Mines a daily driver too :D , last trip I went on , spent more time pulling out a swb safari which was well set up than doing driving! Go the Paj! There under rated ! HaHa and it only owes me next to nothing! Cheers again guys , nice to meet you all

If you need help on bars and sliders etc, go and see Marty at Wellington Towbars, bottom of vivian street.

You will be allowed to keep some of yr money......

Funny that you mention joining a 4wd club..... I know of a fairly good one that has a pretty good membership base in Wellington and a bunch of helpful guys... now what's its name?... forgot it....... ummmmmm
