bj40 snorkle

Hey guys, just wondering with respect to a snorkle for my bj40 what is needed. Is diameter of the pipe important ? I saw this one on trademe for $100.

Except my engine is a B series diesel turbo, therefore the intake is on the exhaust side which means the pipe would need to be reversed??

Is this a good deal or are snorkles relatively cheap to make and would it be better to just make a custom one ?

as you said diesal from other side so no good to you, i looked at the same snorkrl for my rig but would only be good for a 6 cyl not a 8 due to diametrer of intake, bend one up , or use straight pipe with those cool rubber elbows you get but watch the cost!!
had one of these on my old 2f and it ran out of air at about 95%, jus when you want it eh!!!
