Wipers stopped working

Hi all,

The wipers on my SJ413 have ceased to work, how do i tell if i need a new motor or if it is something else causing the issue? And if i need a motor for the wipers does anyone out there have one for sale?

Without stating the obvious, have you checked the fuse?

mine stopped last week checked fuse then checked and cleaned all plugs then took motor out checked it put it all back in.then took wiper arms off and found that the one on the left had a washer part that was seized put wiper arms back on just not as tight all good

Yea checked fuse first and is good.

well good luck to you if you start getting linkages out as thats a pain, can you hear any noises from the motor if you turn the wipers on? like the motor trying to turn and try move the wipers with your hands when the switch is turned on. might help free it up a little. i have a spare motor or 2 here if you need one.

Yea it doesnt'make any noises, i have found a motor but if it falls through ill come back to you, Cheers

So i have fixed the wipers, it was caused by the linkages from the motor to the wipers ceasing up and then the motor burnt out. New motor and cleaning the linkages and greasing them up has fixed it.
