Have any of you...

Post by Dodgysam »

Tried a gopro motorsport hero video camera?

I got one just the other day and they seem pretty wicked.
I havent tried it out mounted to the outside of the truck yet but it does mount by a dirty great motorsport approved suction cup...rated to 120mph so i read.

And here is a wee vid of some fella in a Toymota Tacoma getting stuck with a motorsport hero camera recording.

some guys getting stuck

Will try it out next time i go out and let you know how it works out.

I've been thinking of getting one from http://www.nzhelmetcamz.co.nz/ after seeing this clip on youtube http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gY0N_5iR ... annel_page
I know a company in the States that sell GoPro products and did a quick price comparison and T-Boon your mates price is a lot cheaper. Link for that is http://www.tobefast.com/gopro-m-1277951.html and after you do the exchange rate there is a big difference. Anyhow McCoy's rate them highly too.

yeah, but moslty made for attaching to rollcages... all our motorsport stuff has to be made to withstand quite a bit of g's so they dont become projectiles. i have seen some that bold into seatbelt holes, but other than that not sure. you could always suction cup it to the inside of the window ?

Can still enquire for you if you want ?
