Hi all
Had to pull the hand brake drum to bits again!!! full of mud etc... and you all know me, if it breaks tiwce it's going to be fiddled with!!!
Looking at swapping the drum set up for a disc set up.
Thinking out loud, use a mechanical brake (as per the hand brakes on the rear disc's on cars)
Looks easy, but any more ideas out there or has anybody seen/done it?
Rat
P.S. them 35 Centipedes are the s@#t. Lock the diff, piont and shoot yeehaaa.

http://www.x-eng.co.uk has disc conversion kits. I found that the drum works allright for me. When I replaced the shoes and adjusted it, there was a huge improvement. It will lock the wheels on gravel while you're on the move now
