New to forum, got a 88 bighorn and a 79 hiluxhi :)

Post by Chchshrek »

Hi there

New to the forum, have had a 4wd for a couple years now been on couple of club events and a bit of playing with mates.

At the moment I have:

1988 swb bighorn
265/70/15's A/T road tyres
235/85/16 wrangler Mud Tyres
Custom rear hook
front winch mount and tow hook mounts made of 50x50x6mm box and 6mm plate, and hooks of a truck with 14mm bolts
Snorkel
Standard open diffs

not very moddified, but supprized a few people up at dredgeville where it would go

Also have a reg on hold rusty truck

1979 single cab hilux
Left hand drive
mostly worn 33's, AT rear, 6mm muds front
front pipe bar with standard hook
pretty standard, but ive had it out once and bit of a laugh, first of the hilux 4wds and lefthave drive so kinda interesting.
being a pain to start at the moment, fuel pump leaks like a sieve and only starting after lots of tow starts.

couple ofter cars that i play in the mud with

1964 mk1 cortina
1300 escort motor, 20 thou pistons, hot cam, ported head with matched manifold, extractors, weber 1600 late model carb
locked diff
over rider springs in rear, with coils round shocks as well
roll poles and new seats and race harnesses

Also have a silly project of

1967 Anglia
3800 VP commodore v6
turbo 700 trans
4 cylinder VH commodore diff
leaf over rear suspention, using origional anglia leaves over commy diff
commodore subframe and mcferson struts at the front with removed sway bar
radiator in boot
still a work in progress bit will fun once finished :)

anyway, just saying hi :)

I brought an old anglebox for 15 bucks about 25 years ago, it came complete with a failed apprentice mechanics tool box, not top quality tools but all complete and good quality stuff, I towed the anglbox up to the tip and kept the tools
