timing belt light, isuzu mu
how do you turn it off? truck has just clocked over 200,000kms? is there a wee button on the dash like surfs and hilux's or is it something else?
Re: timing belt light, isuzu mu
if it is like the bighorn there is a switch on the back of the speedo ... You have to pull the speedo out to get to it ...
I also found this ...
I also found this ...
If it is anything like the other Isuzus, you have either a switch on the back of the speedometer/cluster, or a screw. The switch is easy, just move it to the other position. If you have the screw, you will find two holes in the back of the cluster labelled "KSW" - move the screw from the hole that it is currently in to the other hole labelled "KSW." The hardest part is getting the console out.

There is no mechanical problem so difficult that it cannot be solved by brute strength and ignorance.

its a bulb, pull it out, never have that annoying cambelt light problem again....
Re: timing belt light, isuzu mu
its a screw in the back of the dash, the dash can be a pain to get out, you'll need a long shafted screw driver
Re: timing belt light, isuzu mu

The flashing overdrive light is the auto transmission fault code. If you removed a screw in the back odds are you removed the speed sensor earth screw. It will turn off the light but you won't get overdrive.
