air compressors
Anyone got any suggestions for a godd portable air comp., around the $300 mark, can't afford an ARB one (bugger) please help me out here, Nelson is really lacking for 4wd accessories...
I have read really good reports about the new bushranger Max-Air. The original bushranger offering in the black casing with useless accessories like a torch was crap stay well away. But the new compressor has good write ups in Aussie magazines and I used one [actually he had two piggy backed together] recently and it did a great job....
Don't know the cost - but the Bushranger range is competitive and widely available.
You may want to consider the dive tank option - probably bigger set up cost but light years quicker...

Hi Smurf
Have a look around the wreckers for a compressor out of Mitsubishi's, the models are the one that have adjustable suspension (Pajero etc), they are almost the same as the ARB one! but at a fraction of the price.
P.S they will even operate the ARB lockers!!!
I have one in my shed if you have trouble finding one that I may part with.....
Cheers
