Rotorua Tracks

Post by Landcruiser70 »

Well, figured it's about time to give the new truck a good run. Really looking for something nice and muddy, but not truck damaging material, although it'd be good to hear of any tracks in the area.
I've got a fairly well equipped 93 Prado (bar a winch)
35" muds
4" lift
Air locker in the rear
LSD in the front
CB
Hi Lift Jack
Spade

And I'm always keen if any of the Vegas fellas are heading out for a play.

Cheers
Hamish

Hey Landcruiser70,

Just wondering, did you have any luck finding any tracks?

I have an LJ70 with 31" Maxxis M/T's - so the truck is pretty standard.....anyway, was hoping you could shed some light on some easy tracks (bearing in mind the standard-ness of my truck).. just for a bit of fun to take the new truck off road.

Hi Mate,
There are several Zuks in the sulphur city club. Not sure if there is a run this month, but there are runs from next month through to xmas organised.
Alot of the guys in the club also Do non club runs now and then, so there is always something going on.
If you are interested, drop us a line.
Also check out the TECT park on Tauranga direct rd. Im not sure what is happening up there but I think one of the Tauranga clubs is the 4x4 area up there.

Hi there, Can you please define "Truck Damaging"?

No where I have been in the local area other than the new Devon st roundabout, would I send anyone with the guarantee that a panel or two are not at "risk"   ..
