this is to inform only no other reason
the four door jeep that colin uses at the woodhill park is back up and running again after 4 months at the dealers having the lift removed and stand suspenion put back in, it fail its wof filled the whole page , bushs worn , bushs not avalable seperately from the springs, chassis had to be reweld by a certed welder, bolts were substanded. welding on compoants not up to automotive standard, when out of warrenty a arb system going in
89 safari, pto winch, 33x15 simexs. sliders,75mm lift . turbo intercoolered

What make was that lift? I am not sure what was done to it and by whom. When you say arb, you mean OME? Jeep kits out of US from big name vendors are great, but at the same time there are some vendors whose products are not really reliable. Do you have any more information?

he said it was a mopar lift , they fitted it as a promo deal , it turned around and bit them back

That is very very strange. Mopar lift is actually (afaik) is a re-badged Rubicon Express kit. Rubicon Express has had some problem with their bushes in the past, but it was a sub-contracting problem (or so they said). Otherwise, Rubicon Express is one of the good quality suspensions out there. I am actually running a couple of their components without any problems so far. But then again, mine is a TJ (been tested by manufacturers for nearly 13 years now). Four door would be a JK (been only out for a couple of years).

Just did a bit of searching on the net, turns out Mopar 4.5" long arm is Rubicon Express but 2" short arm is Superlift. Both manufacturer are known for good quality products.
