Anyone know a good mechanic in Nelson?

I'm looking at getting a Terrano which is currently in Nelson but the auto box needs replacing.

Does anyone know a reasonable mechanic that doesn't charge like a wounded bull or someone that would be willing to lend a hand? I would probably need access to a hoist though if I was going to do it.

Total mechanical in Mot. A Mate works there.

Next tme you talk to him could you ask how much he would charge to swap out the gearbox. Cheers.

Thanks for the reply but I didn't end up going for it. It was going to be too much of a hassle to arrange it from the deep south.
