Mud flaps/gaurds/flares

Hey there, has anyone got any ideas where to get some material strong enough to make up some flares for my truck, I need them to be 80-90mm wide to make my truck legal. I'd like them to be flexible so conveyor belt material may be what I need, just not sure where to get it. Thanks, Matt.

You could always try your local quarry and see if they have any old belts?

Most quarry belts are a bit thick.....You need the thin stuff they work sand and such with i think.

I'm gonna check out HCD in Hamilton this Saturday.

Went to HCD on Saturday and they are very helpfull. Got myself some belt, enough to make flares for 4 guards easily for $10.

How much do you need, what truck are they going on. The stuff I got was 300mm wide so I got 4 strips of 75 out of it, 55-60mm of flare.

its for a 130 surf, so should be roughly the same dimensions as yours..
